Una delle quattro installazioni presentate al SUPERSTUDIO di Via Tortona e denominate AUGMENTED REALITY TOUR nata dalla collaborazione tra Stefano SELETTI, Alessandro ZAMBELLI e lo STUDIO BADINI CREATEAM è il PALACE THEATRE, un diorama che mette in scena un'ambientazione rinascimentale creata con gli elementi del servizio PALACE TABLE CLASSIC ARCHITECTURE. La messa in scena e' volutamente destrutturata per lasciare intravedere il backstage. Un manichino è seduto a questa ipotetica tavola/teatro. Insieme ad Alessandro ZAMBELLI abbiamo progettato la struttura della scena e ci siamo occupati inoltre delle grafiche delle quinte. IL PALACE THEATRE è stato fotografato da migliaia di operatori e curiosi, già si trovano tracce in migliaia di blogs. Viva Internet!

The first of four installations at SUPERSTUDIO in Via Tortona and titled AUGMENTED REALITY TOUR, born from a collaboration between Stefano SELETTI, Alessandro ZAMBELLI and the STUDIO BADINI CREATEAM is the PALACE THEATRE, a diorama that shows a renaissance landscape created with element of PALACE TABLE CLASSIC ARCHITECTURE. The scene is destructured on pourpose to let open the "backstage effect". A mannequin sits in front of this hypothetical table/theatre. Together with Alessando ZAMBELLI we designed the scene structure and we took care of the illustrations of the side scenes. The PALACE THEATRE has been photographed by millions of operators and curious people, you can find threads in a lots of blogs. Internet is great!

ABICI SERIE STOCCOLMA
Note Design Studio ha personalizzato i modelli GRANTURISMO ABICI esclusivi per la Svezia, ispirandosi ai colori di quattro tra i più famosi edifici storici di Stoccolma. I colori vanno da un arancio-caldo a un rosso-arancio saturato, un bianco-gesso e un azzurro soft. Vedremo molto presto la gente giusta girare per Stoccolma con biciclette ad-hoc. Una bella iniziativa gestita graficamente molto bene dai colleghi svedesi che hanno rispettato i canoni dell'art-direction dello STUDIO BADINI. Artigianato e design ITALIANI, personalizzazione SVEDESE.
Note Design Studio have customized a unique Stockholm line for the stylish Italian bicycle manufacture ABICI (GRANTURISMO models), where the colours from four different iconic buildings in Stockholm have inspired the colours of the bicycles. The colours goes from a warm orange-yellow to a saturated red-orange, a chalk white and finally a soft azure. We are going to see fashionable people riding among the architecture in Stockholm with bicycles that are made for the city! A very good initiative, the svedish colleagues have graphically respected perfectly the STUDIO BADINI iconic art-direction. ITALIAN manufacturing and design, SVEDISH flavour.

Il Premio Viadana quest'anno celebra la quindicesima edizione, un appuntamento sempre più importante per gli scrittori italiani e soprattutto per tutti gli appassionati della letteratura. Anche quest'anno abbiamo ristilizzato l'immagine coordinata con nuove idee di colore e di pattern proiettando nel nuovo ma non rinnegando tutta l'avventura del passato. Un programma di mobili che reinterpretano forme classiche e moderne con un livello iper_grafico serigrafato "tout-court". Inaspettati, i mobili TRIP_FURNITURE firmano gli interni con una personalità potente.
Il programma comprende trumeaus ed armadi barocchi, tavoli moderni con gambe "saetta" inusuali da sostituire a piacere, consolles di ispirazione anni '50, settimini e vetrine, tutti proposti in patterns di mappa metropolitana,
polka-dots colorati, maxi pied-de-poule, righe multicolor.
Realizzati in MDF, sono completamente serigrafati e rifiniti a mano.

Appreciated from the market and from the new design fanatics they are now plagiarised by some european companies with very poor fantasy (and poor quality)! A collection of furniture that re-interprets classic and modern shapes with a hypergraphic silk-screening “tout-court". TRIP_FURNITURE, unexpectedly brings a powerful presence to any room. The collection includes trumeaus and baroque wardrobes, modern tables with "lightning" unusual legs of your own choosing, fifties style consoles, 7 drawer tallboys and display cases, all with metropolitan map decoration, coloured polka dots, maxi pied-de-poule, and multi-coloured lines. Made from MDF, silk-screening and finishing done by hand.

MILES DAVIS / BLUE CHRISTMAS
Miles Davis era ed è avanti anni luce, ha composto questa meravigliosa canzone dedicata a coloro a cui non piace il Natale creando, come al solito, un capolavoro. Nel 1962 alla richiesta della casa discografica di incidere una canzone natalizia ha risposto con "Che C***O credono che adesso gli suono White Christmas?" in Perfetto stile Miles/Burbero. La Canzone si intitola BLUE X_MAS (To whom it may concern) - Natale Triste (per coloro a cui importa). L'arrangiamento perfetto di Gil Evans, la voce di Bob Dorough, il sax di Wayne Shorter e la poesia assoluta della tromba di Miles. Una gemma di rara bellezza e un testo tra il cinico e l'ironico che vi consigliamo di leggere e seguire attentamente. BUON NATALE!
Miles Davis was, and still is, ahead of his times. He created this wonderful song dedicated to whom that don't like Christmas, a masterpiece. In 1962 when Columbia wanted Davis to contribute a song to the "Jingle Bell Jazz" album, Davis complained, "What the f*ck am I supposed to play for them? ‘White Christmas’?" in perfect Miles style. The song is titled BLUE X_MAS (To whom it may concern). Arranged by the great Gil Evans, vocals by Bob Dorough, Wayne Shorter plays the sax, and the heavenly poetry of Miles trumpet. A gem of rare beauty with some cynic and ironic lyrics that we suggest to follow. MERRY X-MAS!
